4. Chris Johnson vs. Houston
5. Arian Foster @ Tennessee
6. Knowshon Moreno @ Oakland
7. Peyton Hillis @ Cincinnati
8. Rashard Mendenhall vs. New York Jets

13. Jonathan Stewart vs. Arizona
14. Ahmad Bradshaw vs. Philadelphia
15. Steven Jackson vs. Kansas City
16. BenJarvus Green-Ellis vs. Green Bay
17. Adrian Peterson vs. Chicago (Monday)
18. Felix Jones vs. Washington

32. Brian Westbrook vs. San Diego (Thursday)
33. Pierre Thomas @ Baltimore
34. Maurice Morris @ Tampa Bay
35. Ryan Mathews vs. San Francisco (Thursday)

Inside the numbers:

  • Mojo remained on fire, posting his sixth straight 100+ yard day. He faces the Colts this week, who he has only averaged 128.2 total yards with 11 touchdowns in nine career games against them.
  • Run DMC has 336 total yards and four touchdowns in  his past two games. He should destroy Denver, a team he had 196 total yards and four touchdowns against earlier this season.
  • Michael Turner quietly has six touchdowns in his past four games and ten touchdowns in his past seven games. Good luck Seattle.
  • Peyton Hillis has lost five fumbles this year. A stat that keeps him out of the top five ranking this week.
  • With the Vikings in complete disarray, it’s hard to consider Adrian Peterson a RB1 against a Bears team that is coming off an embarrassing defeat.
  • LeGarrette Blount did not meet expectations against Washington, but should bounce back against Detroit.
  • Felix Jones, Tim Hightower, and Jonathan Stewart should continue to produce while Thomas Jones and LaDainian Tomlinson continue to slide.
  • Ronnie Brown actually  makes a RB2 option this week against Buffalo, who is allowing 165.8 yards per game on the ground.

Blount over S Jax? That seems scary. Help me be more confident doing that.

Detroit has allowed 15 rushing touchdowns. I have a feeling Blount adds one or two to it this year. I think Kansas City bounces back and has a strong showing against the Rams. That said, SJax is too low. Thanks for putting me in check.

AP, The Law Firm, and SJax, need 2. I’m leaning towards starting Green-Ellis for sure, and am torn between AP and SJax. Need your help

I have them all bunched together. AP being below them both. Tjax now is hurting too. Just doesn’t seem to be going right at all in MN.

Looking for some RB, WR, Flex starts…
    Foster, Rice, Blount, BJGE, Torain
Jennings, Mike Williams (TB), Marshall, Maclin, Amendola, Crabtree
Need 2 in each and a possible flex

    December 15th, 2010 at 8:18 am #

Gotta go with Foster and I like Rice as well at RB
At WR I like Maclin and Marshall. If Rodgers can play, I’d use Jennings, but I can’t see how he’d be able to.
For Flex I like Blount, but BJGE is pretty darn close. Solid squad and it’s no wonder you’re still in it this week.

I’m a little shocked to see Mendenhall so high, given his recent slump, the O-Line issues, and the Jets Run D

I have SJax, Mendy, Stewart and Tolbert (can use 3) at Rb, OR 2, and the odd man out of Nicks, Branch, Garcon and Maclin

I am seriously considering sitting Mendehall, and going with:

    Sjax and Stewart at RB

Nicks, Garcon, Branch at WR, and Maclin at Flex

    Am I nuts ?? .5 PPR league.

I’m a big Mendenhall fan so I may have him ranked a little higher than he should. I just think the Jets are reeling and he should be able to get going on them.

That said, I don’t see anything wrong with going with SJax and JStew and given the PPR nature, I like what you’re doing at WR and flex.

I’m in the semifinals and I have Tolbert, Ronnie Brown, and LeGarrette Blount. I need to choose two of them to start. At the moment I’m starting Blount and Tolbert but Brown is so tempting this week due to the terrible Buffalo run defense. What do you think?

  12. LestersLegends
    December 15th, 2010 at 8:08 pm #

I have Tolbert slightly ahead of Ronnie because he’s been a letdown most of the year. I like his matchup and have him as a R2 though.

Big Underdog this week, I have AP,Felix Jones, Ronnie Brown, Pierre Thomas for a 2RB no flex league – thoughts on deployment for the week? Also on receivers M.Austin,M.Colston,S.Johnson.S.Moss.A.Collie, need 3 studs to start any thoughts?

    Blount or Tolbert?
    Holmes or Floyd?

  15. LestersLegends
    December 16th, 2010 at 3:05 pm #

Pete – I like AP and Felix. I expect Ronnie to have a good game, but I can’t trust him when you have good alternatives. At WR I like Austin, Colston, and s.moss. stevie has been hit or miss and can’t trust colllie yet.
aaron – i like blount and floyd. tolbert is sharing. floyd has better matchup.

    December 16th, 2010 at 5:41 pm #

Yeah, I’m in the semi’s…and this is probably my toughest call so far this season. I’m thinking Blount as well.

I like the Patriots in both instances.

  26. Jake

Matt Forte, L. Blount, Fred Jackson. Need to pick 2.

  27. LestersLegends
    December 17th, 2010 at 10:12 am #

Odd man out for me would be Fred Jackson. Miami’s run d has been a little better than Minnesota’s and I think Spiller starts to get more work.

  28. James
    December 17th, 2010 at 11:30 am #

    Hey Lester.

    Starting McCoy.

Have Peterson too. But there are playing outdoors, on the worst field in the country, against the Bears, with a rookie QB, and AP has a banged up Ankle and Knee.

Would you sit him? Other options include Bradshaw and Ryan Torian.

I really don’t want to sit the #2 pick in RD1 playoffs. Opponent got 8 pts from Tolbert last night.

    Thanks for advice!

  29. LestersLegends
    December 17th, 2010 at 12:01 pm #

I have Bradshaw ranked ahead of AP for all the reasons you mentioned. I would not worry about draft status and I’d play your best available, which I think we both feel is Bradshaw.

  30. Alex
    December 17th, 2010 at 12:27 pm #

I need to pick 1 RB out of: Goodson, Lynch, Javarris James, Beanie Wells. I am leaning toward Goodson, but I could easily see James get a TD.

    Hey I posted earlier about M.Austin,M.Colston,S.Johnson,S.Moss & A. Collie

You suggested Austin/Colston/Moss – Do your recommendations change if McNabb isn’t going to be throwing this weekend? Part of me feels like goin for broke with Johnson or Collie and hoping for a big upside. Thoughts on that?

  32. LestersLegends
    December 17th, 2010 at 1:06 pm #

alex – i’d go Goodson there too, but James is a nice little play this week as well. I just like the matchup.
pete – i could see rolling with stevie with rex at QB.

  33. Blaine

I have to start 3 RBs….I have Jones-Drew, Foster, Hillis, and McFadden….which 3 to start?

    Mendenhal or forte

  35. LestersLegends
    December 17th, 2010 at 6:52 pm #

blaine – i’d go with my three highest guys MJD (#1), McFadden (#2) and Foster (#5). Hard to sit Hillis, but I like the other three better
    john – i like mendy

PPR league need to start 2
    Forte, S Jackson, Torain, Woodhead
I wanted to start S Jackson and Torain but now that Grossman is starting I’m hesitant to put Torain in.

    Appreciate the advice

  37. LestersLegends
    December 18th, 2010 at 7:20 am #

I would go with sjack and torain. I like his matchup better and they could go with a lot of runs and check downs to simplify things for rex.

    14 team ppr . 75 league
    Starters: vick/r.white/boldin/welker/o.daniels/r.rice

I have a rb and flex open. I need to pick between:
    Torain/woodhead/blount/s.johnson/joe webb(wr)
*the only reason I even considered webb is bc I have the bears defense starting to hedge againt the rookie.
Which 2 should I go with? Do you think I’m overthinking this webb play?

  39. LestersLegends
    December 19th, 2010 at 7:45 am #

I’d go with Blount and torain unless you are a gambler, in which case you roll with webb. you could get a nice number out of him, or he could fall flat on his face against a tough bears d leading patrick ramsey to come in. seems risky to me.

  40. Peter
    December 19th, 2010 at 8:13 am #

A little trouble at RB maybe i have too many options. I have Rice, Charles, T.Jones, Torrain, Bradshaw and Blount. I was leaming towards Charles and Bradshaw, but the matchup Blount has is making me think. I was also debating on giving rice a start, but he just hasnt found the endzone, and he constantly gets robbed by mcgahee.

  41. Peter
    December 19th, 2010 at 8:14 am #

just to specify i need two rb from my earlier post

  42. LestersLegends
    December 19th, 2010 at 8:42 am #

I like Rice and Blount, but Charles is right ther in the mix. Bradshaw is at 14 for me so really all of them are close. i’d go with your gut
