Notable Changes:
– I bumped Sidney Rice down a few more notches. His lingering hip injury is starting to concern me.
– I bumped Dwayne Bowe up a few notches. He has escaped Todd Haley’s doghouse, and should be primed for big things.
– Mike Williams and Johnny Knox have joined the rankings. Williams earned the starting gig in Tampa, which should get him plenty of looks. Knox was been targeted more than all of the Bear WRs.
– Demaryius Thomas and Devin Aromashodu came off the list. Thomas’ foot concerns me, while I think Aromashodu will be at least third fiddle behind Knox and Devin Hester.
– I bumped Michael Crabtree up a few notches. He had impressive numbers considering he was coming off and injury and was a holdout. With a full offseason program, and the experienced he gained last year, he could double his production from last year.
– Now that Terrell Owens found a home, and a suitable one at that, he lands smack in the middle of the list. T.O.’s signing bumps Ochocinco down a few spots and Antonio Bryant off the list.
– Lee Evans went down a few slots because Buffalo’s offense frightens me.
– I swapped Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson, mainly because of their quarterbacks.

Hmm…Reggie Wayne at #2 spot?!? The dude is 31 this year and I think he had 3 touchdowns in this last 7 games of the 09 season. That trend should continue into this season.

Wayne had 1264 yards and 10 TDs last year despite battling through injuries. 31 for WRs isn’t 31 for QBs. Wayne will be just fine. I don’t see much of a difference between the 2 through 8 picks. It’s just personal preference. Andre Johnson is the clear number one, and the next tier is those seven WRs.

I know everyone’s saying this is the year of QBs and WRs in the first few rounds but honestly…I don’t have much confidence in any of the WR’s after the top 4. For example, Miles Austen at 5 scares me as last year he got those big numbers coming out of nowhere on weeks where teams continued to try and shut down Roy W. No guarantees he comes close again this year.

Just saying you run a high risk of picking an early round dud by taking any one of these top 10 WRs. A few of these will definately be duds

There are a lot of rb duds too. lot of rbbc. In your ten team league, i would try to get a stud rb and stud wr with my first two picks depending on where you draft

yeah,i got 5th pick. Just feels like vegas this year even in the first 2 rounds!!!!!!! At least in years past your first two round picks wouldn’t have a chance of being complete duds. You knew they’d be better than average. might makesense to go RB QB WR. King likes to roll the dice though ;-)

You’re looking at Rice, Turner, Gore there unless you role the dice and take top WR off the board. With 16 you should have a nice choice of top tier QB, top tier WR, and a solid back.

    Maybe a Turner/Gore – Brees/Manning – Jennings/DeSean/Colston start
