Inside the numbers:

  • I’m afraid Calvin Johnson is just too big and powerful for a Patriots’ defense allowing 300+ passing yards per game. Look for a Thanksgiving feast for Megatron.
  • Donald Driver’s return did not spoil Greg Jennings fantasy value. Look for another strong effort against Atlanta’s weak pass defense.
  • Dwayne Bowe has ten touchdowns in his past six games, and he’s facing Seattle, who is allowing 300.2 passing yards per game along with 16 passing touchdowns.
  • Marques Colston is heating up. He has 32 catches in his past four games. Over that stretch he’s averaging 91.3 yards and a touchdown per game.
  • The T.O. and Ocho Show get to face Revis and Cromartie. The “diva receivas” should be quieter this week.
  • Steve Johnson has a tough match-up against Pittsburgh, but he’s playing too well to bench against anybody.
  • With Leslie Frazier taking over the Vikings’ ship, I expect the team to play inspired, tempering my expectations for Santana Moss.
  • I can’t bring myself to endorse either Brandon Marshall or Randy Moss until they prove themselves.
  • ***UPDATE*** Malcom Floyd slid a bit as his hamstring has become a issue. I can’t trust Seattle’s Mike Williams (foot) right now either. Derek Hagan makes the list.
  • Ben Obomau replaces Davone Bess.

Where is Vincent Jackson in this list?

He’ll have to be added in the light of Crayton’s injury.

I picked up Jackson 3 weeks ago for this moment. I’m tied for the final playoff spot right now, hope he gets me over the hump. I now have Megatron, Andre Johnson, and V-Jack (couldn’t get a top 5 back so I went with a strong receiving corps instead).

Hey Lester – Would you start James Jones vs a shaky ATL secondary over J Knox?
Starting Austin and Harvin, Nicks is injured.

    TE: Hernandez vs Det
    Pettigrew vs NE
    Olsen vs Philly

    Tood Heap is avail

    Again McCoy or Bradshaw?

Wow, many options for me to choose from. I’ve got three of the top 11 receivers on this list on my team(Andre Johnson, DeSean Jackson, Brandon Lloyd. I picked up Lloyd late). Lloyd’s one TD last night was good enough to win and go to 7-4. It just so happens I’m playing the league leader in points and who is tied for the top record with me. Big game.

I’m not particularly strong at running back on my team either.

    Later bro!

    Nice Rad.
James – Knox is safer. Jones is more risk/reward. i love pettigrew this week. He’s my #1 TE. I have Bradshaw over McCoy, especially with the injuries at WR.
Mr. Funk – nice job. good luck.

    Hey Lester – I have a slew WR’s and I need to pick 3 to start for this week. Which ones would you go with;
    Brandon LLoyd vs. St. L,
    Steve Johnson vs. Pitt,
    Vincent Jackson vs. Ind,
    Malcolm Floyd vs. Ind,
Randy Moss vs. Hou, and even
Danny Woodhead vs. Det, as a WR/RB

I’m thinking LLoyd, Jackson, and Johnson, but what are your thoughts.

Also Tamme vs. San D. or Vernon Davis vs. Ari?

    I’d go Lloyd, Floyd, Johnson

Hard to play V-Jax without seeing what he can do. I like Tamme as well.

I’m seriously considering starting Santonio Holmes over DeSean Jackson this week. Should I or shouldn’t it…or is it simply a crap shoot?

Do you BJGE will fare better against Detroit’s D than Mr. Fumbles Ahmad Bradshaw will against Jacksonville?

Nothing wrong with that. Chicago has a tough pass d. Holmes has been a beast.

Any thoughts on V.Jax’s return? San Diego is light on wideouts.

This is true. Probably a decent option to go with. Depends on who you’d be sitting.

Ignore that last comment, my browser wasnt showing any previous comments when I submitted it. It’s hard not to start V.Jax since Rivers is so hot and he’s got to throw to someone but I have Lloyd, Holmes, and Colston so I dont think I can afford to take a risk.

Agree with you. Wonderful problem to have, but why take the risk?
