38. Damaryius Thomas vs. Oakland
39. Mike Williams (SEA) vs. Arizona
40. Jabar Gaffney vs. Oakland
.
Inside the numbers:

  • Why do I get the feeling that Favre and Randy are going to do something special in Green Bay? Moss averages 95.6 yards per game with 12 TDs in 13 games against the Packers. Favre had seven TDs against Green Bay last year.
  • Max Hall made Larry Fitzgerald relevant again. With a week off, and facing Seattle’s pass defense that’s allowing 290.8 yards per game, I’m optimistic that will crack 100 yards for the first time this year.
  • The Packers are committed to getting Greg Jennings more involved in the offense with Jermichael Finley gone for the year and Donald Driving (thigh) not at 100%.
  • Jeremy Maclin should see extra targets with DeSean Jackson likely held out because of concussion symptoms.
  • Michael Crabtree looks to score in his third straight game.
  • Even coming off a bye, I don’t think Carolina’s Steve Smith will be able to suit up.
  • It didn’t take Tom Brady and Deion Branch long to get reacquainted. He’s a strong play going forward.

I love that you have Fitzgerald ranked high. I feel really good about him this week. It was also great to see Jennings do some damage on Sunday … hopefully he will continue to see as many targets going forward with Finley out.

The only thing I’m skeptical about it Deion Branch. It would not surprise me if Welker has a big week and Branch gets shut down against SD. That said, Branch will have 18 rec for 300 yards :)

I am a huge Fitz fan, so I may be wearing cardinals rose colored glasses. i think jennings was frustrated and they made it an effort to get him the ball. having finley out helps.

you have the right to be skeptical about NE players. I have Welker as low-end 1 and branch as low-end 2 so i’m with you there. I’m just a little more optimistic on branch.

Thanks Rudy. Hopefully he’s big this week too.
AC – I’d go with Garcon. He appears healthy and his QB is much better.

Do you have any faith that Wes Welker will explode in yards and receptions any time soon, he’s been horrible week 3 – 6. Would you replace Welker with Branch?

    I wouldn’t drop him. I think he’ll come around.

I have Big Ben and Rivers. If I want to trade one for a receiver, where do they fall in these rankings. Assume I’m only offering to trades to someone who needs a QB and has a good group of WRs.

I think Rivers is fair with Moss; maybe Ben doesn’t break the top 10. Anyone agree? No? Why?

Rivers for Moss, given your parameters, seems like a fair trade. Ben won’t net a top ten after one game. Still a lot to prove, especially since he did his damage against Cleveland.

No love for M. Williams (Seattle) on the board? I’d prolly get him ahead of at least Deon Butler

Butler has scored twice, but you’re probably right.

I have Brandon Marshall, Steve Smith, Dwayne Bowe, Brandon Lloyd, and Lance Moore. I have 3 WR spots available…who should I start?

I’d start the first three, unless it’s Carolina’s Steve Smith, in which case I’d go with Lloyd.

I wanna pick up another receiver on the wire for depth, who do you like best for the rest of the season? Mike Williams (Sea), Robert Meachem, Louis Murphy, or Derrick Mason?

They are all decent choices. I like the way Meachem is coming on. He may take a hit when Bush comes back now. Seems like Mike Williams may be the best choice.

Would you drop Cooley given the fact that I also have Zach Miller and add Steve Smith (Car), I have depth at WR but I think it may be a solid move, wat do you think?

    Two issues:

#1) I have to start 3 WR’s out of Bowe, Fitzgerald, White and Wallace. I currently have FItz, WHite & Bowe in. Should I swap one of them for Wallace?

#2) Heath Miller or Mercedes Lewis?
