2010 NFL Picks – Week 1

Sep 5, 2010

Last year we were 177-79 (.691) during the regular season and posted a undefeated survivor/suicide pool. We were 31-3 (.912) in our non-repeat team lock picks. Both of those marks were improvements on the 2008 numbers – 159-96-1 (.623) and 25-8-1 (.750), which were also improvements on 2007 when were 154-98 (.611) and 12-5 (.706). We’re back  for a fourth year of NFL prognostication.

Week 1 Locks:
Lock to Win:  San Francisco 49ers
Lock to Lose (can’t be same game as above):  Detroit Lions

Week 1 Picks:
New Orleans over Minnesota
Miami over Buffalo
Chicago over Detroit (Loser Lock)
Tennessee over Oakland
New England over Cincinnati
New York Giants over Carolina
Atlanta over Pittsburgh
Tampa Bay over Cleveland
Denver over Jacksonville

Arizona over St. Louis
Green Bay over Philadelphia
San Francisco over Seattle  (Winner Lock)

Rough first week. Got like 9 out of 16 (spread picks) Bears going for 2 point failed conversion – ouch, easy extra point and they win with the spread….sigh.
for spread picks, can you post/email BEST BET? lol Some other site was saying 49ers was best pick ….which I took…sigh again.

I got drilled yesterday. Lost my survivor pick (SF) after going unscathed last year.

I can e-mail a best bet, but until we see a few weeks and know what teams are for real and which ones are not, it’s hard to make good picks.
