2011 Get ‘em or Don’t Sweat ‘em Waiver Wire Advice – Week 9

.
There were some unusual heroes on Sunday. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.
.
Javon Ringer, RB, Tennessee Titans: Chris Johnson doesn’t have it. Ringer not only is a solid handcuff, but he should start eating into CJ0.5K’s carries. I don’t know if you can use him after the bye weeks, but he should be rostered.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.

Reggie Bush, RB, Miami Dolphins: Bush ran hard for 103 yards on 15 carries. He also caught four passes for 17 yards. He likely won’t produce like that again this year, but he’s averaging 77.3 total yards the past four weeks.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Ben Obomanu, WR, Seattle Seahawks: Obomanu caught all four of his targets for 107 yards. I don’t trust anyone outside of Sidney Rice for Seattle, and even he is limited by ineffective play around him.
.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers: Antonio Brown was the hot pickup last week, and he did have a nice game, but Sanders played well too. He caught five passes (eight targets) for 70 yards. He’s a solid bench option.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Eric Decker, WR, Denver Broncos: Decker caught six passes (12 targets) for 72 yards and a score. Tebow is a hard player to figure out, but Decker seems to still be able to produce. He would have scored last week as well if Tebow didn’t miss him. If he was cut in your league get him.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Lance Moore, WR, New Orleans Saints: Moore caught eight passes (ten targets) for 82 yards and a score. He’s been OK most games and has the potential for big games so he’s worth rostering.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Mario Manningham and Victor Cruz, WRs, New York Giants: Manningham caught six passes (nine targets) for 63 yards and a score. Cruz added seven catches (nine targets) for 99 yards and a touchdown. There is enough for both of these receivers.
Ruling: Get ‘em Both.
.
Michael Crabtree, WR, San Francisco 49ers: Crabtree caught five passes (nine targets) for 54 yards and a touchdown. He has two solid games with a bye sandwiched in between. I like him going forward.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Nate Washington, WR, Tennessee Titans: If Washington was dropped after just ten yard and a bye in the past two weeks, you need to pick him up. He had 37 total yards and a pair of touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving).
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Titus Young, WR, Detroit Lions: Young caught four passes (five targets) for 66 yards and a touchdown. He’s too inconsistent for fantasy teams.
Ruling: Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Dallas Clark, TE, Indianapolis Colts: The Colts are awful so they will have to pass a lot. Clark caught six passes (ten targets) for 77 yards. It was his second straight game with six catches.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Greg Olsen, TE, Carolina Panthers: The toe injury didn’t slow him against the Vikes. He caught four passes (seven targets) for 73 yards and a touchdown. It’s his fourth score of the year and he’s a solid TE option coming out of next week’s bye.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Heath Miller, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers: Miller caught seven passes (nine targets) for 85 yards. Miller is too inconsistent to be a TE1.
Ruling: Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Scott Chandler, TE, Buffalo Bills: Chandler caught both of his targets for touchdowns. Talk about making the most of your opportunities. He doesn’t get enough action to be worthy of rosters in most leagues.
Ruling: Don’t Sweat ‘em.
