Perhaps the biggest move of the day was a puzzling one. It didn’t come as a surprise that Zach Miller headed up the coast to Seattle since his meeting wasn’t secretive, but is surprising that he was there in the first place. The Seahawks already have a solid tight end in John Carlson. This move effectively ruins his fantasy value unless he is traded. Carlson’s presence minimizes Carlson’s fantasy value though. It’s not enough to bump him in my 2011 fantasy tight end rankings, but he moves closer to that next tier of tight ends.

The Eagles continued to be aggressive this offseason by adding veteran Ronnie Brown. Brown gives the Eagles another option to run the Wildcat, as well as an adequate backup to LeSean McCoy. I’m not lowering McCoy in my 2011 fantasy RB rankings, but I am lowering my expectations a bit. Ronnie is a bigger back and could take some of the goal line carries away. His presence could also cut into Michael Vick’s rushing touchdown production.

Finally, the Vikings cut left tackle Bryant McKinnie, who had all the talent in the world, but lacked drive. This is a clear sign to the team that nobody is above the law. Good for you Leslie Frazier. I would think he has everybody’s attention.
