2011 Fantasy Football Kicker Rankings – Week 1

Sep 7, 2011

Here’s a look at LestersLegends’ Week 1 2011 fantasy football kicker rankings.
1.  Nate Kaeding, SD vs. MIN:  Vikes’ should keep him busy.
2.  Neil Rackers, HOU vs. INDY:  I’m expecting a shootout. 3 FGs, 6 PATs vs. Colts last year.
3.  Stephen Gostkowski, NE @ MI:  New England will hang a ton of point on the Fins.
4.  Mason Crosby, GB vs. NO:  Should be another shootout.
5.  Adam Vinatieri, INDY @ HOU: Ditto Neil Rackers. 4 FGs, 6 PATs vs. Texans last year.
6.  Rob Bironas, TENN @ JAX:  Five FGs, 3 PATs vs. Jags last year.
7.  Sebastian Janikowski, OAK @ DEN:  Master of the long field goal in Denver’s thin air.
8.  David Akers, SF vs. SEA:  New team, but still has the skills. Should be active against Seahawks.
9.  Alex Henery, PHI @ STL:  New Kicker, but gets to start off in dome.
10.  Josh Brown, STL vs. PHI:  Stalled drives could lead to multiple FG attempts.
11.  Matt Bryant, ATL @ CHI:  Falcons offense should be humming.
12.  Lawrence Tynes, NYG @ WAS: Solid option against the Redskins this week.
13.  Billy Cundiff vs. PIT:  Can see Pittsburgh toughen when Ravens are in red zone.
14.  Phil Dawson, CLE vs. CIN:  Things have got so bad in Cincy that I can endorse a Browns’ kicker.
15. David Buehler, DAL:  Cowboys should be able to move chains, but TDs may be hard to come by.
