2011 Fantasy Football TE Rankings – Week 12

Nov 23, 2011

.
Here’s the LestersLegends’ Week 12 2011 fantasy football tight end rankings.
.
1.  Rob Gronkowski @ Philadelphia:  Creeping up on Megatron (11 TDs) for the league lead with ten TDs. Five in his last three games.
.
2.  Jimmy Graham vs. New York Giants:  Leads all TEs with 87.3 yards per game.

3.  Antonio Gates vs. Denver:  Averaging 68 yards over the past five games with three scores.

4.  Tony Gonzalez vs. Minnesota:  Up to seven TDs after scoring for the third straight week.

5.  Jason Witten vs. Miami:  Averaging 64.3 yards with two TDs in the past three games.

6.  Aaron Hernandez @ Philadelphia:  Eagles have the corners to match up with the WRs but the TEs create mismatches.

7.  Vernon Davis @ Baltimore:  Has scored in consecutive weeks as he becomes a bigger part of the offense.

8.  Jermichael Finley @ Detroit:  Continues to be hit or miss with big game potential.

9.  Scott Chandler @ New York Jets:  Red zone threat that could see more looks with a banged up WR corps.

10.  Heath Miller @ Kansas City:  Averaging 62.0 yards over the past four games.

11.  Brent Celek vs. New England:  Averaging 61.8 yards with two TDs in his past five games.

12.  Kellen Winslow @ Tennessee:  Monster game (132 yards) and two more with scores in his past four games.

13.  Fred Davis @ Seattle:  Still catching passes (13 in past three games), but he’s only averaging 39.7 ypg during that stretch.

14.  Jake Ballard @ New Orleans:  With the WRs getting healthy Ballard has not been as productive in recent weeks.

15.  Tony Scheffler vs. Green Bay:  Has scored in three straight games.

I think you might be hating on Pettigrew just a little. I realize he is a frustrating play at times, but Stafford will throw 50 times tomorrow, and Winslow just torched the Packers (who are generally terrible against the pass anyway). I’d put Pettigrew down for 5/50 and a half-chance at a TD.

Perhaps Grant. He is frustrating. He hasn’t been over 42 yards in his last six games though and scheffler seems to be the red zone guy of late.

He’s had one strong game in the past four. Don’t love him this week.
