2011 Fantasy Football TE Rankings – Week 9

.
Here’s the LestersLegends’ Week 9 2011 fantasy football tight end rankings.
.
1. Jimmy Graham vs. Tampa Bay: Came back to Earth last week, but still the top tight end by far on the year.
2. Antonio Gates vs. Green Bay: Rivers will have to go to his old reliable option to get out of this funk.
3. Rob Gronkowski vs. New York Giants: Heavy pass rush means a lot of dump offs to Gronk and Hernandez.
4. Jason Witten vs. Seattle: He’s been quiet recently with his yardage but has three touchdowns in the past four games.
5. Aaron Hernandez vs. New York Giants: Patriots spread the ball around but the two tight ends remain a key cog in their offensive game plans.
6. Jermichael Finley @ San Diego: He’s been somewhat disappointing but the potential for a huge game is always there.
7. Fred Davis vs. San Francisco: His ankle is a concern, but he’s the Redskins best offensive option.
8. Vernon Davis @ Washington: Very quiet of late, but still a solid TE1 most weeks.
9. Tony Gonzalez @ Indianapolis: He hasn’t scored since Week 4, but he remains a solid, consistent option.
10. Dallas Clark vs. Atlanta: He’s caught six passes in two of his past three games.
11. Owen Daniels vs. Cleveland: Averaging 4.5 catches for 63 yards over the past six games.
12. Jake Ballard @ New England: Averaging 3.8 catches for 60.3 yards and 0.5 TDs the past four games.
13. Kellen Winslow @ New Orleans: Yardage hasn’t been there, but he has 19 catches in the past four games.
14. Heath Miller @ Baltimore: Averaging 5.5 catches for 72 yards the past two games.
15. Dustin Keller @ Buffalo: He’s hit or miss, but has topped 50 yards the past two games.

Who would you start this week Fred Davis of Finley? And should I try to trade any one of them and what could I get? Would you make any moves or should I stay with my team?
My Team
QB-Newton, picked up Freeman for bye week
RB-Rice, Greene, Battle, Torain, Daniel Thomas, Ringer is on WW
WR-Fitz, S. Rice, Megatron, Mike Williams
TE-Finley, Davis

I’d go Finley. Davis is dealing with an ankle sprain. Granted it’s a Grade 1 sprain but it’s still a risk. I think you’re pretty good. Both of your TEs have had their byes so that is good. You could try and package them and Greene or Battle to improve RB2 or with Rice or MW and try to improve WR3. Other than that your squad looks sick. Nice starting lineup and good depth.

I’d try to trade one of those TEs and see if you can upgrade the RB situation. I like Gronk better.
