2011 Fantasy Football: Week 1 Sleepers

Sep 8, 2011

.
Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here is a list of LestersLegends’ under the radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you in Week 1.
.
Alex Smith, QB, San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle:  Look, I don’t have the guts to use him, let alone roster him, but Seattle did have a horrible pass defense last year.
.
Colt McCoy, QB, Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati:  It feels weird endorsing a Browns quarterback, but Cincinnati is just that bad.
.
Willis McGahee, RB, Denver Broncos vs. Oakland:  John Fox has utilized the two-headed monster at RB as good as anybody in the league. McGahee should give the Broncos the tough yards and take the carries inside the ten.
.
Mike Tolbert, RB, San Diego Chargers vs. Minnesota:  This feels like a game that you let Tolbert mop up after Rivers does the damage.
.
Plaxico Burress, WR, New York Jets vs. Dallas:  I’m not sold on the Cowboys’ secondary and Burress’ size could be too much for Dallas to handle in the red zone.
.
Greg Little, WR, Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati:  He may be green, but he’s definitely an athlete. He could put up solid numbers against Cincinnati.
.
Kyle Rudolph, TE, Minnesota Vikings @ San Diego:  Shiancoe has been banged up. Don’t be surprised if McNabb targets Rudolph plenty.
.
San Francisco 49ers DST vs. Seattle:  I wouldn’t be surprised if a QB switch was made in this game. Tarvaris Jackson has not taken advantage of his opportunity thus far.
