9.103 Mike Sims-Walker, St. Louis Rams
Mike Sims-Walker landed in a nice spot in St. Louis. His one-year deal should keep him on his best behavior. I’m expecting Sam Bradford to make MSW more consistent.

Question: I currently have the fifth pick in a league of 14 teams. In the mock drafts I’ve participated in, I’m not liking the long gap between picks. Is it ridiculous to the think I would be better off with the seventh or ninth pick?

Let me rephrase that question: Is there an optimal position in the draft order outside of the top three picks? For instance, it seems that having pick twelve out of fourteen, allows you to pick up two players of high value (two of the top seventeen picks). I don’t see a huge difference in value from pick five versus pick twelve when looking at the likely available players. What are your thoughts on this?
