2012 Fantasy Football Start/Sit Week 4

Sep 26, 2012

.
Here’s a look at LestersLegends sit and start advice as you set your lineups for the fourth week of the 2012 NFL season.
.
Quarterbacks
Start:
Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens: He put up a nice game against the Patriots and he should keep rolling against Cleveland. The Browns have allowed 269.0 yards per game and eight touchdowns through the air.
.
Sit:
Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles:  Until the Eagles get out of their funk it’s best to sit Vick. The way the Giants bring the heat, it’s possible Vick doesn’t make it out of this game.
.
Running Backs
Start:
BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Cincinnati Bengals:  The Firm has 238 total yards and two touchdowns and has been a solid fantasy play each week. He gets to feast on Jacksonville this week, who has allowed 154.3 rushing yards per game and five touchdowns on the ground
.
Cedric Benson, Green Bay Packers: The guy BJGE replaced in Cincy is also a good play this week for the Pack. He got in the end zone last week and welcomes a match-up against New Orleans, who is yielding a ridiculous 215.0 rushing ypg and six rushing TDs.
.
Sit:
Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans:  Johnson ranks 65th in rushing yards this year. There are ten quarterbacks with more rushing yards. He’s averaging 1.4 yards per attempt. The RB formerly known as CJ2K is on pace for 240 yards. Staggering. Throw in a match-up against Houston and the case is cemented.
.
Wide Receivers
Start:
Leonard Hankerson, Washington Redskins:  The second-year wideout has six catches over the past two games for 124 yards and a touchdown. With Pierre Garcon likely sidelined, Hankerson should see plenty of action against a Tampa Bay team allowing 353.3 yards per game through the air.
.
Malcom Floyd, San Diego Chargers:  Floyd has 13 catches for 227 yards and a touchdown. He has had at least 52 yards receiving each game. He takes on a Chiefs team that has allowed eight passing scores.
.
Sit:
Nate Washington, Tennessee Titans:  I’m not a huge fan of Washington this week as the Titans square off with the Texans. He only has eight catches through three games.
.
Tight Ends
Start:
Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings:  He has become a vital part of the Vikings offense, especially in the red zone. With Adrian Peterson commanding so much attention, the playaction pass is open for business. He has three TDs through three games.
.
Sit:
Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys:  With as many solid tight end choices as there are, there is no reason you can’t sit Witten until he proves that he is back to form.
.
Defenses
Start:
Arizona Cardinals:  Talk about a surprise team. Their defense is nasty. They have faced Seattle, New England, and Philadelphia and have only allowed 13.3 points per game. This week they take on Miami that will likely be without Reggie Bush.
.
Sit:
New York Jets:  It’s not that I think San Francisco is an offensive powerhouse. It’s just the Jets are without Revis and don’t have a productive pass rush. Not a good combo.

Who would you recommend this week – Andre Brown or Ahmad Bradshaw? My other running back is Michael Turner.

Honesty I like Turner this week over those two. If you are using Turner and a Giants RB I would stick with Brown.

I need your help again. I have a flex spot (wr/rb) and wr spot to fill.
Who should I use out of this bunch: Malcolm Floyd, Eric Decker, Ryan Williams, Jacquizz Rodgers, Danny Amendola, and Alshon Jeffery ? This is a Non-PPR. Also for a QB Peyton or M. Ryan?

I like Floyd and Decker for WR and flex.

For week 4 should I start Rivers or Fitzpatrick at QB. Also, I have a tough spot should I start Michael Bush, Martellus Bennet, or Macolm Floyd in my flex position? This is a ppr league.
