2012 Fantasy Football WR Rankings – Week 10

Nov 5, 2012

With an exciting ninth week under our belts, here are the LestersLegends 2012 Week 10 fantasy football wide receiver rankings.
1. Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons
Julio is averaging 126.0 yards the past two games and has dream matchup against New Orleans.
2. A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals
Green has scored in seven straight games. The Giants are giving up 264.3 yards per game.
3. Brandon Marshall, Chicago Bears
Marshall is averaging 116.6 yards with six touchdowns in the past five games. Houston is tough, but Marshall is on fire.
4. Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons
There will be plenty of production to go around against New Orleans.
5. Eric Decker, Denver Broncos
Decker has seven touchdowns in the past five games. Manning is dialed in. Look for a strong game against the Panthers.
6. Demaryius Thomas, Denver Broncos
Thomas is averaging 106.8 yards in his past five games. He should roll against Carolina.
7. Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts
Wayne has a great rapport with Andrew Luck. He’s averaging a career-high 104.4 yards per game. Reggie had eight catches for 88 yards in the first meeting with Jacksonville.
8. Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions
Megatron was able to battle through his knee issues for 129 yards against Jacksonville. He’s going to be a tall task for Minnesota.
9. Vincent Jackson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Averaging 101.2 yards and a touchdown over the past five games. San Diego has allowed 14 passing scores.
10. Miles Austin, Dallas Cowboys
Miles is averaging 102.0 yards the past three games. Takes on the Eagles.
11. Marques Colston, New Orleans Saints
Colston will need to be active to keep pace with the Falcons.
12. Wes Welker, New England Patriots
Welker had nine catches for 129 yards in the first meeting with Buffalo, though he’s been quieter the past two games.
13. Victor Cruz, New York Giants
Cruz hasn’t salsa danced for two weeks. Faces the Bengals in Cincinnati.
14. Mike Wallace, Pittsburgh Steelers
With his explosive speed he can score at any time. The Chiefs have allowed 17 passing touchdowns.
15. Jeremy Maclin, Philadelphia Eagles
Maclin should be a solid play against Dallas.
16. Malcom Floyd, San Diego Chargers
Averaging 4.5 catches in his past four games. Tampa Bay has allowed 321.1 passing yards per game.
17. Hakeem Nicks, New York Giants
Should be a matter of time until Nicks regains form. Will it happen this week against Cincinnati?
18. Stevie Johnson, Buffalo Bills
Stevie was kept in check in the first meeting with New England, but scored in both games against them last year. He’s banged up so keep an eye on his availability.
19. Dwayne Bowe, Kansas City Chiefs
Caught eight passes for 79 yards last week. Next up is Pittsburgh.
20. Andre Johnson, Houston Texans
Averaging 8.3 catches for 93.0 yards the past three games, but Chicago presents a tough matchup.
21. Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers
Smith scored his first touchdown last week. Next up is Denver.
22. Lance Moore, New Orleans Saints
Should see additional targets against Atlanta with Darren Sproles out.
23. Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys
If he’s healthy he’s a decent WR2 against Philadelphia.
24. Denarius Moore, Oakland Raiders
Moore is averaging 69.3 yards with four touchdowns in seven games. Baltimore has allowed 246.8 passing yards per game.
25. Brandon Lloyd, New England Patriots
Lloyd scored twice in London prior to the bye. He also score in the first meeting with Buffalo.
26. Sidney Rice, Seattle Seahawks
Has three touchdowns in the past four games. Takes on the Jets.
27. DeSean Jackson, Philadelphia Eagles
DeSean brings big play ability in his home game against Dallas.
28. Torrey Smith, Baltimore Ravens
Smith has scored in two of his past three games. Should do well against Oakland.
29. Mike Williams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Williams is averaging 80.0 yards with three touchdowns in the past five games. Solid WR3 against San Diego.
30. Michael Crabtree, San Francisco 49ers
Crabtree scored a pair of touchdown prior to last week’s bye. He faces the Rams.
31. Darrius Heyward-Bey, Oakland Raiders
DHB is averaging 63.7 yards the past three games. The Raiders will be forced to pass often against Baltimore.
32. Danny Amendola, St. Louis Rams
Amendola should return this week against the Niners and see plenty of targets.
33. Anquan Boldin, Baltimore Ravens
Boldin is averaging 78.4 yards the past five games. Faces Oakland.
34. Emmanuel Sanders, Pittsburgh Steelers
I’m expecting an ankle injury to keep Antonio Brown out, which makes Sanders a decent WR3 against Kansas City.
35. Brian Hartline, Miami Dolphins
Hartline caught eight passes for 107 yards against the Colts. He is a solid WR3 against a bad Titans pass defense.
36. Titus Young, Detroit Lions
The ground game did the damage last week. This week Young should be able to exploit the Vikings secondary.
37. Donald Jones, Buffalo Bills
Jones has ten receptions in the past two games. He scored in the first meeting with New England.
38. T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts
Hilton could be a solid option if Donnie Avery’s hip forces him to miss the game against Jacksonville. He caught six passes for 102 yards and a touchdown last week.
39. Kenny Britt, Tennessee Titans
Caught five passes for 67 yards last week. Will he finally break out against Miami?
40. Cecil Shorts, Jacksonville Jaguars
Averaging 83.7 yards in his past three games. Faces the Colts.

I need to fill WR2 and flex this week with 2 of these 4: kenny britt, T.Y hilton, blackmon or andre brown. Thanks in advance

Need 4 of these 5 for PPR (4th will be the flex):

    -V Jax
    -Steve Johnson

Nicks doesn’t look 100% to me, despite what we are being told. Thoughts?

rozay – yuck. probably britt and hilton
Dan – sit nicks or stevie depending on who is healthier. You could have said 2 of 3 and just automatically plugged in welker and vjax.

Thanks. I have julio so I have some leeway. I’m trying to follow my weekly ritual of my flex player playing in the thursday night game. That said, hilton, avery, shorts, blackmon and laurent robinson are all available. I figured with avery’s injury hilton would be the best play?

Bench: heyward-bey, mike Williams, and Floyd

i’d go with floyd. I believe he’s a solid WR2 this week. Sounds like avery could play. If you check the rankings all of the options are higher than Hilton for me.

I was going to wait until after Wednesday evening and may need this question update then but with Indy playing Thursday I’ll throw this out there and ask again if necessary. 3 recievers and one flex please choose the 4 best: Jeremy Maclin, Denarius Moore, Brian Hartline, T.Y. Hilton, Nate Washington, and Vick Ballard.

    maclin, moore, hartline, ballard

That’s how I have it. Projections obviously aren’t a way to judge things but for some reason Hilton is projected about double Ballard.

And for my standard league: Will Hakeem Nicks play in your opinion? Nicks is questionable and my only viable back up not on bye is Nate Washington. Would you go with either of these free agents instead of Washington?: TY Hilton, Lafell, Donald Jones, Devone Bess, Devery Henderson, Blackmon, or DHB? DHB is on waiver and I’m 10 out of 12 so he may be tough to get.

Is Amendola a good flex WR or is Shorts a safer choice? Thanks as always!

I think so but Shorts is safer.

Where would you rank Percy Harvin against the poor Lions secondary, if he plays?

If he plays I think he’s a reasonable WR3. He’d be a risky play though.
