2012 Week 3 Fantasy Football Sleepers

Sep 20, 2012

Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here is a list of LestersLegends’ under the radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you in week three.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Buffalo Bills
Fitzpatrick has thrown five touchdown passes in two games. Cleveland has allowed 601 passing yards and five TD passes in two games. They just aren’t the same without Joe Haden (suspension). The recipe is there for a sleeper play for Fitzpatrick.
Peyton Hillis, RB, Kansas City Chiefs
Jamaal Charles isn’t right yet. Hillis had 66 rushing yards and 25 receiving yards last week. He faces the Saints, who have allowed a league worst 372 yards on the ground.
Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Dwyer has managed just 71 rushing yards and 23 receiving yards in two games. Rashard Mendenhall’s return is on the horizon. There aren’t many chances left. Especially not one as juicy as Oakland, who has allowed 295 yards on the ground.
Andrew Hawkins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
Hawkins has ten catches for 142 yards and a score in two games. He faces Washington, who has allowed 627 yards passing and a league high six passing touchdowns.
Aldrick Robinson, WR, Washington Redskins
The Redskins face the Bengals who have been shredded for 617 yards and four passing TDs in two games. Robinson has 92 yards and scored in two games. If Garcon is limited he could see extended time again. If Shanahan deems his drop less offensive than Josh Morgan’s bonehead penalty, it would also work to Robinson’s benefit.
Scott Chandler, TE, Buffalo Bills
Chandler is a Fitzpatrick’s red zone target. He has scored in both games and Cleveland has allowed five passing TDs and 601 passing yards.
Indianapolis Colts Defense
There aren’t many people clamoring to get the Colts defense. They do present an interesting match-up this week though, against a Jaguars team that ranks last in total offense (236.0 ypg) and 30th in scoring (15.0 ppg). They allowed 36 points last year in two meetings.

One of my favorite websites. Who would you recommend for a start, either TE M. Bennet or WR B. LaFell? My other two receivers are WR A. Brown & WR J. Jones (had WR H. Nicks, but is out with injury). Thanks.

Thanks. I like both options. I guess I’d go Bennett tonight since Nicks is out.

Nice call. One more for you, if it’s cool. I played Andre Brown and I need another starter, choices are Daryl Richardson, Michael Turner, Jacquizz Rodgers (Go Beavs), and James Starks. Who would you suggest? Thanks.

With garçon most likely out, would you recommend I pick up Hankerson or Robinson to play in his place?
