2013 Fantasy Football Kicker Rankings – Week 5

Oct 2, 2013

.
With another exciting week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends 2013 Week 5 fantasy football kicker rankings.
.
1. Stephen Gostkowski, New England Patriots
Stephen Gostkowski is tied for the NFL lead in scoring with 41 points on 11 field goals (league-high) and eight extra points. He’s facing the Cincinnati Bengals, who have allowed six field goals and nine extra points.
.
2. Matt Prater, Denver Broncos
Matt Prater is also tied for the league in scoring with 41 points. I give Gostkowski a slight edge because he is more likely to make field goals. Prater has six field goals and 23 extra points. The Denver Broncos face the Dallas Cowboys, who have allowed five field goals and 10 extra points.
.
3. Matt Bryant, Atlanta Falcons
Matt Bryant has eight field goals and 10 extra points. He’s facing the New York Jets, who have a good enough defense to force some field goal attempts. They have allowed eight field goals and eight extra points.
.
4. Garrett Hartley, New Orleans Saints
Garrett Hartley is tied for fifth in scoring with 36 points on eight field goals and 12 extra points. He’s facing the Chicago Bears, who have allowed 10 field goals and 12 extra points.
.
5. Steven Hauschka, Seattle Seahawks
Steven Hauschka ranks eighth in scoring among kickers with 35 points on eight field goals and 11 extra points. He’s facing the Indianapolis Colts, who have allowed three points and six extra points.
.
6. Greg Zuerlein, St. Louis Rams
Greg Zuerlein has six field goals and five extra points. It’s been disappointing, but he hasn’t missed a kick on the year. The St. Louis Rams offense should get on track against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They have allowed eight field goals and 15 extra points.
.
7. Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens
Justin Tucker has 31 points on seven field goals and 10 extra points. He faces the Miami Dolphins, who have allowed seven field goals and 10 extra points.
.
8. Nick Novak, San Diego Chargers
Nick Novak is tied for fifth in scoring with 36 points on eight field goals and 12 extra points. He’s facing the Oakland Raiders, who have allowed five field goals and 10 extra points.
.
9. Alex Henery, Philadelphia Eagles
Alex Henery has 31 points on seven field goals and 10 extra points. He’s facing the New York Giants, who have allowed seven field goals and 17 extra points.
.
10. Phil Dawson, San Francisco 49ers
Phil Dawson has three field goals and 10 extra points. He’s facing the Houston Texans, who have allowed seven field goals and 12 extra points.

My Foster & Amendola for his D.Bryant and T Gonzales. I have gore and DMC as my other back. Marshall and Eddi Royal for my WR. Olsen as my TE. Do I make this trade?

You don’t really get an upgrade at TE. I couldn’t trust DMC. I’d stick with Foster. If you could give him Royal instead of Amendola, it would be a little more attractive.

Back to the whole Dawson ordeal – do I jump ship this week and get rid of him??? He’s done little to nothing for me but he’s accurate and I thought the he’d be big this year with the niners. There is guys you have ahead of him available.. Or does he final break out? What do you think?

    Thanks

THought I answered it. If you don’t want him, dump him. Kickers are so unpredictable. If you’re unhappy, make a move.
