With another exciting week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends 2013 Week 15 fantasy football quarterback rankings.
1. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos
Peyton Manning is averaging 347.8 yards and 3.5 touchdowns per game putting him on pace for 5,566 yards and 55 touchdowns. He continues his assault on the record books against the San Diego Chargers. 2. Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
Drew Brees is averaging 315.9 yards and 2.5 touchdowns per game. Brees averages 350.6 yards and 3.3 touchdowns at home and 275.5 yards and 1.7 touchdowns on the road. He’s playing away, but at least he’ll be in the comforts of the Edward Jones Dome against the St. Louis Rams. The Rams have allowed 248.8 yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game.
3. Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers
Cam Newton is averaging 213.5 passing yards, 1.5 passing touchdowns, 38.1 rushing yards and 0.5 rushing touchdowns. Newton is playing the New York Jets at home where he averages 0.5 more passing touchdowns and 10.1 more rushing yards. The Jets have allowed 254.9 yards and 1.8 touchdowns per game.
4. Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions
Matthew Stafford is averaging 305.6 yards and 2.1 touchdowns per game. After playing the Philadelphia Eagles in the snow, he’ll welcome a return to Ford Field away from the elements. Stafford averages 73.5 more yards at home. He’s facing the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have allowed 231.7 yards and 1.6 touchdowns per game.
5. Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles
Nick Foles will also welcome a move indoors after a snowy game. He’ll also welcome his matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikes have allowed 282.5 yards and 2.2 touchdowns per game. Foles has thrown 20 touchdowns and ran for three more with just one interception and one lost fumble.
6. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
Tony Romo continues to have a great season for the Dallas Cowboys. He’s facing the Green Bay Packers at home where he’s averaging 285.2 yards and 2.3 touchdowns per game. The Pack have allowed 246.8 yards and 1.8 touchdowns per game.
7. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons
Matt Ryan is averaging 282.8 yards and 1.6 touchdowns. He’s playing the terrible Washington Redskins at home where he is averaging 308.5 yards with 10 touchdowns and one interception, compared to 260.9 yards with 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions on the road. The Skins 256.7 yards and 1.9 touchdowns.
8. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks
Russell Wilson is averaging 220.8 passing yards, 1.8 passing touchdown and 35.2 rushing yards per game. He’s facing the New York Giants. The G-Men have allowed 231.8 yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game.
9. Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Tom Brady is averaging 372.2 yards and 2.4 touchdowns in his past five games. Losing Rob Gronkowski (knee) is a major blow. Temper your expectations against the Miami Dolphins. Brady had just 116 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting.
10. Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
Philip Rivers is averaging 298.6 yards and a pair of touchdowns per game. He’ll be forced to throw it often against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos have allowed 274.3 yards and 1.8 touchdowns per game.

Russell Wilson or Big Ben this week?

I don’t love Wilson on the road, but he could put up a solid game.

Big Ben has a tougher matchup but he’s at home and I feel like it’s a must win to keep any fraction of playoff hopes alive.

Jason Campbell is also a free agent in our league…

I have Cam a little higher. Both high-end QB1s though.

Shawn – Ben, I don’t think you need to pick five. Obviously Charles is a given. I’d also go Allen, Morris, Brown and Douglas.

My QB situation is bad with injuries. Do I start Dalton, Campbell, or Cousins?
