2015 Get ‘em or Don’t Sweat ‘em – Week 9

Nov 2, 2015

DeAngelo Williams Steelers
.
There were some unusual heroes on Sunday. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.
.
Click here to get in on the action for tonight’s Monday Night Football showdown between Indianapolis and Carolina as well as the rest of the games going forward.
.
Jeremy Langford, RB, Chicago Bears
Langford ran for 46 yards filling in for Matt Forte. He’s worth an add while Forte’s knee injury gets fleshed out.
.
DeAngelo Williams, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Williams shined in the first two weeks when Le’Veon Bell was out. He had 110 total yards filling in for Bell again. He should roll the rest of the way and be the top addition this week.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Kamar Aiken, WR, Baltimore Ravens
Aiken caught six passes for 62 yards. Expect a heavy workload with Steve Smith, Sr. (Achilles) out.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Tavon Austin, WR, St. Louis Rams
Austin caught four passes for 98 yards and a touchdown while adding 21 yards and a score on the ground. He has five touchdowns in the past four games. Still a little risky week-to-week, but worth an add.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Marques Colston, WR, New Orleans Saints
Colston turned back the clock with eight catches for 114 yards and a score. It was his first touchdown of the year and only the second time he’s topped 50 yards.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Malcom Floyd, WR, San Diego Chargers
Floyd caught four passes for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He’s a decent WR4 orWR5.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Brian Hartline, WR, Cleveland Browns
Hartline caught four passes for 32 yards and two touchdowns. This performance feels like a fluke.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Dwayne Harris, WR, New York Giants
Harris caught three passes for 37 yards and a pair of scores. He’s only a desperation play at this point.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Andre Holmes, WR, Oakland Raiders
Holmes caught two passes, both touchdowns, for 54 yards. Fluky feel.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Lance Moore, WR, Detroit Lions
Moore caught three passes for 29 yards and a touchdown. The Lions go into a bye so there is no reason to hold onto Moore unless Megatron’s ankle injury lingers.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Nate Washington, WR, Houston Texans
Washington caught four passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. He had 127 yards and a pair of scores the week prior. Grab him.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Troy Niklas, TE, Arizona Cardinals
Speaking of flukes, Niklas caught two passes for 12 yards and two scores. He had one catch prior.
.
Jacob Tamme, TE, Atlanta Falcons
Tamme went ballistic with 10 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown. He is hit or miss, but if you are looking for a TE he’s a decent fill-in. Otherwise, he’s more likely a TE2 for most leagues.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em
.
Benjamin Watson, TE, New Orleans Saints
Watson caught nine passes for 147 yards and a touchdown. He’s averaging 92.3 yards and 0.75 touchdowns in his past four games. He’s in the TE1 mix.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
