2017 Get ‘em or Don’t Sweat ‘em – Week 11

Nov 13, 2017

Jamaal Williams
There were some unheralded heroes this week. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.
Byes: Carolina, Indianapolis, New York Jets, San Francisco
Get ‘em
Robby Anderson, WR, New York Jets – 4 of 7 targets for 85 yards. Four straight games with a score. Owned in most leagues, should be owned in small leagues too.
Rex Burkhead, RB, New England Patriots – 63 total yards, TD. Trending up, but Patriots game plans vary. Still, should be rostered.
Vernon Davis, TE, Washington Redskins – 7 of 11 targets for 76 yards. TE1 when Jordan Reed misses action.
Allen Hurns, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars – 7 of 9 targets for 70 yards. Averaging 67.3 yards in his last three games. WR depth.
Marqise Lee, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars – 6 of 11 targets for 55 yards, TD. Averaging 71.3 yards in last four games and scored a TD in the past two.
Dion Lewis, RB, New England Patriots – 55 yards and a pair of TDs (rushing, return). Lead back in New England.
Jamaal Williams, RB, Green Bay Packers – 74 total yards. Aaron Jones and Ty Montgomery both left injured making Williams a speculative add.
Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams – 8 of 10 targets for 171 yards, 2 TDs. 4 TDs in last two games. Owned in most leagues, should be owned in small leagues too.
Don’t Sweat ‘em
Kenny Britt, WR, Cleveland Browns – 2 of 3 targets for 38 yards, TD.
Garrett Celek, TE, San Francisco 49ers – 4 of 6 targets for 67 yards, TD.
Keelan Cole, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars – 3 0f 8 targets for 61 yards. Averaging 57.3 yards in his last three games. DFS option?
Trey Edmunds, RB, New Orleans Saints – 9 carries for 48 yards, TD. Garbage time score.
Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers – 119 total yards, 2 TDs.
Andre Ellington, RB, Arizona Cardinals – 30 total yards, TD. Adrian Peterson has 58 carries in the past two games while Ellington has just seven touches.
Bruce Ellingon, WR, Houston Texans – 4 of 8 targets for 41 yards, TD.
Charles Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 5 of 10 targets with 68 yards. Mike Evans will return next week.
Marquise Goodwin, WR, San Francisco 49ers – 83-yard, TD.
Jermaine Gresham, TE, Arizona Cardinals – 5 of 7 targets for 64 yards and a TD. Second straight game with a score. Keep him on the radar if he continues to be a safety net for Drew Stanton.
Roger Lewis, WR, New York Giants – 3 of 4 targets for 33 yards, TD.
Brandon LaFell, WR, Cincinnati Bengals – 6 of 10 targets for 95 yards, TD. First time over 45 yards all year.
Maurice Lynell Harris, WR, Washington Redskins – 2 of 3 targets for 50 yards, TD.
Case Keenum, QB, Minnesota Vikings – 304 yards, 4 TDs. Averaging 296 yards and 3 TDs in last two games. QB2 radar.
Vance McDonald, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers – 2 of 2 targets for 16 yards, TD.
Donte Moncrief, WR, Indianapolis Colts – 60-yard TD.
Chester Rogers, WR, Indianapolis Colts – 6 of 6 targets for 104 yards, TD.
Charles Sims, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 30 total yards, TD.

Seeing that he will only be able to play in Week 16 (assuming your league doesn’t play 17 weeks), it is a little hard to add him. That said, you likely won’t use Burkhead so maybe you can stash Zeke.

I think Cupp is your option this week. five weeks is a long time to wait for zeke.
