2017 Fantasy Football: Week 1 Sleepers

Sometimes because of match-ups you have to roll out less than ideal lineups, especially when your players are nicked up. That’s the nature of the beast. Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here are some of the under the radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you.
.
Mike Glennon, QB, Chicago Bears – Likely playing from behind, which translates into a lot of pass attempts.
DeShone Kizer, QB, Cleveland Browns – Same deal for Kizer. He ran for 992 yards and 18 touchdowns in college. His rushing ability aids his fantasy prospects.
Rex Burkhead, RB, New England Patriots – The Pats backfield is a mystery as usual, but Burkhead could see a slew of targets in the passing game.
Jeremy Hill, RB, Cincinnati Bengals – I know the Bengals have a crowded backfield, but Hill is likely to get the short touchdown opportunities. He has 29 TDs in three years.
Charcandrick West, RB, Kansas City Chiefs – Kareem Hunt will get the first crack, but if he struggles West could find himself in a bigger role.
Jamaal Williams, RB, Green Bay Packers – If converted WR Ty Montgomery struggles, Williams could see additional looks.
Danny Amendola, WR, New England Patriots – There are targets to be had with Julian Edelman out.
Marvin Jones, WR, Detroit Lions – He’s pretty overlooked or a guy that has improved each year, including 930 yards last year. If Patrick Peterson shadows Golden Tate, Jones could be a preferred target.
Sterling Shepard, WR, New York Giants – Odell Beckham could be out of limited (ankle) so Shepard could find himself busier than usual. He scored a TD against Dallas last year.
Kendall Wright, WR, Chicago Bears – Glennon will have to throw to someone. Wright figures to lead the team in targets. Volume based option.
Dwayne Allen, TE, New England Patriots – Anytime you have Brady throwing it to you and Gronk to draw attention away, you’re a good bet to be open in the red zone.
Evan Engram, TE, New York Giants – The Cowboys struggled against tight ends last year. The rookie could make a splash in his debut.
Zach Miller, TE, Chicago Bears – As long as he’s healthy he should give you some low-end value based on volume.
