There were some unheralded heroes this week. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.
.
Get ‘em
Peyton Barber, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 106 total yards and a TD.
Taylor Gabriel, WR, Chicago Bears – Caught all five targets for 110 yards.
Chris Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Caught 6 of 9 targets for 56 yards and a TD. Four TDs in five games.
Marquise Goodwin, WR, San Francisco 49ers – Caught 4 of 5 targets for 126 yards and a pair of scores.
Frank Gore, RB, Miami Dolphins – 119 total yards.
O.J. Howard, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Caught all four targets for 62 yards.
Austin Hooper, TE, Atlanta Falcons – Caught nine 9 of 10 targets for 71 yards and a TD.
Christian Kirk, WR, Arizona Cardinals – Caught 6 of 7 targets for 77 yards. Has a nice rapport with Josh Rosen.
Marlon Mack, RB, Indianapolis Colts – 93 total yards. Finally healthy.
Vance McDonald, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers – Caught 7 of 8 targets for 68 yards.
Latavius Murray, RB, Minnesota Vikings – Ran for 155 yards and a TD. Shows he can perform if Dalvin Cook misses again.
Terrelle Pryor, WR, New York Jets – Caught of 6 targets for 57 yards and a TD.
Chester Rogers, WR, Indianapolis Colts – Caught 4 of 10 targets for 55 yards, TD.
Wendell Smallwood, RB, Philadelphia Eagles – 51 yards. Corey Clement was more productive (69 total yards, TD) but Smallwood paced the Birds with 18 carries.
Mitchell Trubisky, QB, Chicago Bears – 316 yards, 3 TDs, 47 yards rushing. QB2.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, Green Bay Packers – Caught 3 of 6 targets for 103 yards. Second straight solid week. Useful if GB WRs remain sidelined.
Jameis Winston, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 395 yards and 4 TDs. Tampa’s defense will keep the Bucs in shootouts and they have good weapons.
.
Don’t Sweat ‘em
Cole Beasley, WR, Dallas Cowboys – Caught 9 of 11 targets for 101 yards and a pair of TDs.
Cameron Brate, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 15-yard TD catch. Three straight games with a score, but not an option with Howard healthy.
Vernon Davis, TE, Washington Redskins – Caught all three targets for 48 yards and a TD.
Chris Herndon, TE, New York Jets – Caught both targets for 56 yards and a score.
Chris Hogan, WR, New England Patriots – Caught all four targets for 78 yards.
Adam Humphries, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Caught 3 of 4 targets for 82 yards. Too many other options for consistent results.
Marcus Johnson, WR, Indianapolis Colts – Caught 2 of 3 targets for 52 yards, TD.
Zay Jones, WR, Buffalo Bills – Caught 3 of 8 targets for 35 yards, TD. Jermaine Kearse, WR, New York Jets – Caught 9 of 10 targets for 94 yards. Put him on your radar.
Case Keenum, QB, Denver Broncos – 322 yards and a pair of TD passes.
Anthony Miller, WR, Chicago Bears – 29-yard TD.
David Moore, WR, Seattle Seahawks – Caught 2 of 3 targets for 47 yards and a TD. Three scores in two games. Put him on radar.
Raheem Mostert, RB, San Francisco 49ers – 12 carries for 87 yards. Alfred Morris can be dropped. Mostert is one to keep an eye on. Possible value pick for daily leagues.
Nick O’Leary, TE, Miami Dolphins – Caught all four targets for 49 yards and a TD.
Brock Osweiler, QB, Miami Dolphins – 380 yards, 3 TDs.
Damion Ratley, WR, Cleveland Browns – Caught 6 of 8 targets for 82  yards.
Paul Richardson, WR, Washington Redskins – Caught 3 of 5 targets for 31 yards, TD.
C.J. Uzomah, TE, Cincinnati Bengals – Caught 6 of 7 targets for 54 yards.
Tyrell Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers – Caught 3 of 4 targets for 118 yards and two scores.
Albert Wilson, WR, Miami Dolphins – Caught 6 of 9 targets for 155 yards and two TDs.
