9/11 Remember the Heroes

Sep 11, 2010

911 Fightfighters

.
Today is a day to remember the heroes that risked their lives in New York, Washington D.C., and over that field in Pennsylvania. Today is a day to remember the innocent victims that lost their lives, and the loved ones that had to pick up the pieces. Today is a day to celebrate bravery.
.
It is not a day to argue over whether or not we should burn the Koran. We should be thankful that we live in a country that has the freedom to protest.
.
It is not a day to protest the war against terrorism. It is a day to remember those who have lost their lives fighting for our county. It is a day to thank the men and women who served, and those that continue to serve our great country.
.
It is not a day bash George W. Bush. He has made numerous mistakes since that fateful day, but I wish to continue to thank him for the strength, poise, and resolve he displayed as Commander in Chief following the horrific acts of terrorism. No matter what you think of the former President, he helped get America back on its feet.
.
It’s not a day to criticize President Obama. Let’s put away the hatred and anger, if for only one day. Too many lives have been lost. Too many sacrifices have been made. Let’s make today a positive one where we truly honor those who have made a difference.
.
God Bless America!

Very well put. It really is hard to believe it had been nine years.
