I think AP is too good to pass up. Favre’s had successful RBs in the past. Ahman Green was one of the top backs for a number of years. Favre’s never played with a back like AP before so it’s hard to say.

I couldn’t take AP #1 overall, for one reason – Brett Favre.

When Favre (yes, I said when, not if) signs with the Vikes, do you honestly think he’s going to keep handing the ball over to AP down after down? Of course not, he’s going to throw it every time (mostly to the defense, but that’s another story) so I think AP’s stats will take a slight dip this season with Favre behind center.

If I got the #1 pick I would have to go with Turner or LT, because Favre being on the Vikes would scare me away from taking AP #1 overall. But that’s just me.
