How did you do? I faced Adrian Peterson. Enough said. I did get good games from Brett Favre, Donald Driver, Brandon Marshall, and Josh Brown. Kevin Walter sucked. So did Shaun of the Dead Alexander. Vernon Davis was solid. Wash D was worse than I expected. Newly acquired Marion Barber III did his part scoring only my 3rd TD from a starting RB all year. I made a move for the future as I sent Edge and soon-to-be-returning Andre Johnson for MB3 and Javon not-soon-to-be-returning Walker. It’s a keeper league, and having MB3 is an improvement over Edge. I dropped my 5th straight after starting the year 4-0. I left LenDale on the bench. He would have been a vast improvement over SA, but it wouldn’t have mattered.

Tracking My NFL Preseason Predictions
I made a bunch of predictions in the preseason. I profiled guys I thought would do well. I also profiled guys I thought wouldn’t meet expectations. Here are my preseason predictions are going.

Surprises
J.P. Losman – Prediction: 3400 yards, 24 TDs, 16 INTs
On Pace for: Not worth reporting.
Right-O-Meter: 1
His injury/benching cost me, but a 295 yard, 1 TD peformance helps a little. Take on 21 rushing yards for good measure.

Alex Smith – Prediction: 3000 yards, 20 TDs, 14 INTs
On Pace for: Not worth reporting.
Right-O-Meter: 1
His injury hurt, but a 149 yard, 3 INT game didn’t help much. SF stinks.

Chris Brown – Prediction: 1000 total yards, 5 TDs
On Pace for: 660 total yards, 2 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 1
His injury has made my predictions go down the tubes.

Jerious Norwood – Prediction: 1200 total yards, 5 TDs
On Pace for: 908 yards, 2 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 3
39 yards isn’t cutting it.

D.J. Hackett – Prediction: 80 receptions, 1100 yards, 8 TDs
On Pace for: Not worth reporting.
Right-O-Meter: 1
His injury made ruined my prediction, but a six catch, 58 yard, 1 TD game helps.

Vincent Jackson – Prediction: 64 receptions, 1100 yards, 9 TDs
On Pace for: 672 yards, 4 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 1
He’s been banged up, but he’s just been terrible.

Heath Miller – Prediction: 600 yards, 8 TDs
On Pace for : 700 yards, 10 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 10
He only had 17 yards, but he scored again.

Disappointments
Vince Young – Prediction: 2800 passing yards, 650 rushing yards, 16 TDs, 6 rushing TDs, 20 INTs
On Pace for: 1710 yards passing, 330 rushing yards, 6 TDs, 4 rushing TDs, 16 INTs
Right-O-Meter: 10
He won again, but he threw for only 110 yards with 2 INTs. He did rush for 25 and a score though. Still, that’s garbage.

Maurice Jones-Drew- Prediction: 1100 total yards, 8 rushing & receiving TDs
On Pace for: 1284 total yards, 8 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 8
Sure, he returned a TD, but that doesn’t help you in most leagues. 59 total yards. That stinks.

Torry Holt – Prediction: 1100 yards, 7 TDs
On Pace for: 1152 yards, 8 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 9
Had a bye.

Tony Gonzalez – Prediction: 700 yards, 5 TDs
On Pace for: 1230 yards, 8 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 1
I busted big time here. Gonzo isn’t done. His 109 yard, 1 TD game is proof.

Injuries have hurt, but at least some of them are returning to form. The busts have been fairly solid. This is a wacky year.
