All-Time Baltimore Orioles
All-time Teams, MLB March 30th. 2009, 10:00amI continue the All-time tour with the Baltimore Orioles.
Since we’re dealing with over a century and thousands of players I will assume the DH role for both leagues. I will limit the teams to 25 players. I’ll carry 13 batters and 12 pitchers for each team. With baseball season around the corner, what better time to take this journey. The teams are based on the stats the players produced with the team so Nick Markakis, for example, isn’t there yet for the Orioles. I may tinker with the lineups slightly to get the best roster possible.

Nice team again. I’m not sure Belanger would ever see the field with Ripken playing everyday like he did. Hahaha.
Pretty solid team when you can bring someone like Boog Powell off the bench to hit.

Belanger could come in as a Defensive Replacement. Dude had a glove. Not only that about Boog, but Palmeiro didn’t even make the squad.

Now that IF can play some D! Well done.
March 30th, 2009 at 12:57 pm
… and for that D to be behind those pitchers .. wow!
Interestingly, there are two guys on that team that were traded for each other.

Agree. Not much is getting by them.
March 30th, 2009 at 4:10 pm
They would contend with that defense and Starting pitching
Not even on the team is Dennis and Tippy Martinez, also Paul Blair, Don Buford, and Rick Dempsey. Probobly a few others from the late 60s teams

They have had some great teams over the years, that’s for sure.
