    Yeah, starting pitching for a team doesn’t get any better than this. This is probably the deepest rotation with Valenzuela, Podres, and Newcombe not even starting, too.

    Maybe the only other one that could be considered is Davey Lopes, but I can’t see taking pitcher or another player from this list off for him.

    I wouldn’t have guessed that this storied franchise had so few strong players at 3B (and they aren’t alone).

    As good of an announcer Drysdale was, he was one of the all-time nasty guys on the mound.
