The Indians don’t have a worthy Closer so I didn’t include one.
That’s the team I came up with. Do you have any changes you’d like to suggest? I’m always open to them.
Past Teams
Yankees
Red Sox
Rays
Orioles
Blue Jays
Twins
White Sox

It is a real good team but it has no chance to win, You really blew it (Don’t you know about the Curse Of Rocky Colovito?)

Rocky was great, but who do you exclude?

Jose Mesa was a hell of a closer for a couple years! He’s really the only one I could come up with…I would have thought Lou Boudreau would be starting…I probably would have put Larry Doby on the bench somewhere….Good stuff!

Mesa was good, but not really worthy for this squad. Sewell had better numbers. I’d love to put Omar Vizquel on this team, but I’m not sure who to bump. Doby was solid, but again, who to bump?

Omar Vizquel , I forgot about him. He is one of the best gloves ever. Not a bad hitter too.

Good picks Lester. I’m not sold on Joe Jackson as an Indian b/c it was only 4 years. Larry Doby gets the nod for me. In terns of production, Albert Belle cranked it up.
In terms of getting Omar on, I wonder how much Boudreau or Sewell played 3B? … but I also realize that’s not the spirit of what you’re doing.
There pitching staff in the late-40s through mid-50s may be one of the best staffs ever.
Can’t believe you left off my favorite Indian … Walt No-Neck Williams.

but joe hit .387, .408, .395, .373, and .327 for them
sewell did play a decent amount of 3b for them so i’ll move him to 3rd, move omar to SS and make this team better. thanks for thinking outside the box
