All-time Minnesota Twins
Face of the Franchise

I continue the All-time tour with the Washington Senators/Minnesota Twins.
Since we’re dealing with over a century and thousands of players I will assume the DH role for both leagues. I will limit the teams to 25 players. I’ll carry 13 batters and 12 pitchers for each team. With baseball season around the corner, what better time to take this journey. The teams are based on the stats the players produced with the team so Joe Mauer, for example, isn’t there yet for the Twins. I may tinker with the lineups slightly to get the best roster possible.

I like seeing the recognition of the old guys … Big Train definitely one of the best ever. Hooray for Goose & Rice.
Though you just can’t have everyone; Frank Howard, Zolio Versailes, Eddie Yost, Roy Sievers, & Rod Carew had darn-good careers.
Well done .. thanks!

Not yet LEV. Mauer is closer with the two batting titles.
Carew made it Frank.

Another team with amazing pitching, One can make a pretty good team with Twins Only
Others that can be on a “Twins” only is Tori Hunter, Zoilo Versailles, Chuck Knoblauch and Bob Allison.

Agree Larry. I’d hand Johan the ball right after the Big Train.

Oops … sorry I missed Carew. (Slap!)
Handing the ball to Santana after Big Train is fine, the question is how many games later! What did the guy throw: 3 shutouts in 4 days or some insanity like that!

Katt was like having a 5th infielder playing.

Wow … A Train-every-other-day pitching rotation is an awesome idea … and reasonable!

That is one great team. I agree that if given the opportunity, I would have Train going every other start. Imagine in a three-game series having to face him in two of the games? Hitters nightmare!
Nice job again!
