The Phillies have had a long history. Dont' forget their past.

Maddox vs. Sam Thompson isn't even close.
Thompson - .333, 924 R, 1469 H, 272 2B, 106 3B, 95 HR, 957 RBI, 189 SB
Maddox - .284, 556 R, 1333 R, 249 2B, 42 3B, 85 HR, 566 RBI, 189 SB
Oh, and Maddox played in almost 300 more games.

Ryan Howard hasn't played long enough. Dick Allen was a beast too.

Dave Cash played in 484 games for the Phils. So that's just plain silly.

I agree about Ozark though. three titles. I'll make the switch. I can switch out Utley and Taylor too. Taylor was never the player utley is, even though taylor has played longer.

Hmmm ... Tony Taylor over Juan Samuel?

Tough outfield to crack if Greg Luzinski can't make the club.

Wow ... There history doesn't provide a bountiful list of first sackers. Good move on getting Richie Call Me Dick over there.

I didn't realize Eppa Jephtha was a Phillie before a Red. His fame and best years were as a Red, Lonborg or Christenson?

Oh well ... well done ... as always!
