Beckett Banned

According to the Associated Press, Josh Beckett received a six-game suspension for intentionally throwing at Bobby Abreu of the Los Angeles Angels. The incident occurred on Sunday, April 12th as the Angels beat the Red Sox 5-4. Beckett gave up four Runs in six Innings. His ERA rose to 3.46. Beckett does have the right to appeal the suspension. Even if the suspension is reduced, he’ll still miss one start.
