Beckett’s Back

After struggling to a 12-10, 4.03 2008 campaign, Boston’s Ace Josh Beckett got things started on the right foot today.  Josh worked out of an early jam and cruised to seven two-hit, one-run Innings.  He did struggle a little with his control, as evidenced by his three walks, but he racked up 10 Ks.  61 of his 93 pitches went for Strikes.  Great news for Red Sox Nation.  Bad news for the Rays and the Yankees.

Beckett’s numbers after his first game:

ERA:  1.29
WHIP:  0.714
BAA:  .087

I hope so, It is tough being a “LONG SUFFERING YANKEE FAN”, The poor Yankees have not won since 2000.
Really in my life this is the 3rd longest the Yankees have gone without winning a World Series. 8 Years, I also went from 63-76 14 years, and 79 thru 95 17 Years,
I know you and all fans throughout the World feels my pain.
