Brett Favre Needs Ankle Surgery To Play in 2010
ESPN is reporting that Brett Favre will need to undergo ankle surgery if he wants to suit up for the Minnesota Vikings in 2010.
Favre, who turned 40 last year, injured his ankle in the loss to the Saints in the NFC Championship. He played through the injury and you know how the story ended.
Favre is not a fan of surgeries, but did have a procedure done on his biceps last year in order to play. He turned in one of the finest seasons of his Hall of Fame career. In his favor, Favre would likely miss training camp, something he’s also not fond of, should he have his ankle taken care of.
If Favre choices to return, which most people assume, the Vikings will remain one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Favre will likely be a top 10 fantasy QB.
