C.J. Watson a Must Fantasy Basketball Play

Apr 12, 2009

Now that Corey Maggette, Monta Ellis, and likely Jamal Crawford are out for the season, Golden State’s C.J. Watson is a very attractive player for fantasy teams that A) are still in the fantasy basketball final and B) allow daily roster adjustments.

The second-year Guard out of Tennessee erupted for 38 points on 10 of 16 shooting with 7 rebounds and 9 assists in a stunning 118-108 win over Utah.  Golden State plays San Antonio tomorrow and wraps the season up on Wednesday vs. Phoenix.

To me this is further proof that fantasy basketball playoffs should be wrapped up earlier.  I want the guys you used all year to determine the outcome, not Johnny Come Latelys.  You can’t change that now though, so you might as well play the game.
