Sweet Music had a great nickname.  He’s basically Orel Hershiser without the scoreless inning streak. He basically had four really good seasons (84, 85, 88, 90).  He was a real good pitcher, but comes up shy in the Hall of Fame Department.

I have met Frank Viola a few times at Magic Games and have talked to him on the radio on a Orlando Sports station. Your recap is right on. He is a very smart baseball guy and would make a Great GM if he wanted to.
If he did that he could make the Hall If Fame as a baseball executive some day.
Oh by the way, Ask him what he thinks of Former Red Sox GM Dan Duquette!

Thank you, but I have been thru about 26 pages of google trying to find him, but no luck, just alot of bio info.
I believe his great uncle is my husband who will be turning 80 in January and I so want to make the connection.
Thank you again for your help. AnnMarie
