I believe it is UP to people who are passionate about things to insist upon the inclusion into the Baseball Hall Of Fame. Joe Carter brings intangible things to the surface as well, like clutch hitting, willingness to play first base and simply his veteran presence in the clubhouse. He showed class, tremendous commitment and in my humble opinion was the face of the Toronto Blue Jays worldwide for stroking the game ending home run in a World Series game done only once before. No one else is quite remembered for their role like Joe Carter and his mighty blast in CANADA to bring Toronto a second World Series Title to Toronto and indeed the rest of Canada.

So... my message to all the critics and bean counters f*ck the stats and look at the quality of individual his year end stats offer and allow Joe Carter to enter the Hall of Fame unblemished, without the stink of Steroids and nightmarish hell that others have stained Baseball forever. He deserves to be remembered as a Hall of Fame member.

Hey Joe if that is really you commenting from 2008 let me tell you one thing. You 100% Belong in the Hall of Fame!!! And I am a Phillies fan, I was riding with my high school friends in a mini van when we heard you hit the home run. I was devastated and had gone out with my friends because I couldn't take the suspense when the Phillies were down 5-1. Then when Dykstra hit the homer in the 8th I was rushing home because I thought the Phils had a chance. I was 2 minutes from home when you hit the homer and my friends turned the radio up loud because they knew I was a huge Phillies fan to make fun of me. You hit a home run to win the world series. No other athelte in sports could possibly ask for more. It is the highest accomplishment in all of sports and because of that with the rest of the numbers for your career you 100% belong in the Hall. Good luck Joe hope you get it you are in my Hall of Fame. -T

Joe, you have been my baseball hero since I was 10 (1991). Now I'm 29 and you are still my baseball hero. Regardless of whatever happens, you are still a hall of famer in many of your fans' hearts. I may never will be able to meet you in person, but from a distance, you still inspire me. Good luck, Joe.
