Dare I Say En Fuego NBA Style Vol. 3

If you’ve been following basketball closely, you’ll know the following players have been playing out of their minds. If not, it’s time to play catch up. Here are some of the hottest players in the league.
Guards
Sam Cassell - In his last three games, Sam I Am has played like a 28 year old instead of a 38 year old. He’s averaging 23.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.0 steals. He’s shooting 60.4% from the floor and 91.7% from the line. He won’t keep it up, but you might as well ride him while he’s hot.
Kevin Martin - You would have never guessed he missed 17 straight games if you based it on how he’s played in his last five. He’s averaged 26.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.6 three pointers in his return. He’s shot 63.2% from the floor and 90.0% from the charity stripe.
Forwards
Danny Granger - Granger has stepped in up in his last eight games. He’s averaging 21.75 points, 7.13 rebounds, 1.25 steals, and 2.5 three pointers per game during that stretch. He’s also shooting 48.2% from the floor and 85.1% from the line. Look for him to continue to put up big numbers with Jermaine O’Neal out.
Pau Gasol - Paul has truly been en fuego in his last five games. He’s averaging 27.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 2.2 blocks while shooting 61.5% from the floor and 73.9% from the line. He’s had his season highs for points, rebounds, and assists during the hot streak.
Centers

Tim Duncan – Even Superstars can hit hot streaks. In his last seven games Duncan has averaged 21.4 points, 14 rebounds, 2.71 assists, and 1.7 blocks. He’s shooting 50% from the field and 63.2% from the line. He’s had nine games of 14 or more rebounds since December 17th.
