All finalists campaigned to be the next Director and the top eight were selected to travel to New York to take part in several interactive challenges specifically designed to measure each finalist’s motivation, professional integrity, and passion for the NFL and Monster.com. These challenges included an NFL trivia and skills game and a board room interview with retired NFL superstars Jerome Bettis and Sterling Sharpe.
“All finalists had the passion and knowledge to be the next Director, but Amanda and Ralph had that extra something needed to represent all NFL fans,” said Bettis. “I think the fans were really invested in these candidates and I’m excited to see who will be named the Director right before the Super Bowl.”
Finalist Amanda Cameron added, “The campaigning experience has been amazing and I am not ready for it to end. As a California native, to travel all over the country and represent my team and the NFL is more than I could ask for.”
“The whole Director of Fandemonium experience has changed my life,” said Lanier, Jr. “I can’t believe that I might walk on the field on Super Bowl Sunday. A select few people in the world can say they’ve done that and I hope I’m one of them.”
