I was sad to hear that Drew Hill died on Friday after suffering two strokes. I wasn’t an Oiler fan, but I loved using their Run and Gun offense on Tecmo Football.
Hill caught 634 passes over his career, that included stops with the Rams, Oilers, and Falcons, for 9831 yards and 60 touchdowns. Hill, along with Ernest Givins, Curtis Duncan, and Haywood Jeffries formed an amazing quarter of receivers on the Tecmo game. With Warren Moon under center and Lorenzo White as the running back, you could really light up the scoreboard.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Hill’s family and friends.
