Last year I picked him up on waivers after someone gave up on him too early and benefited from his late season heroics. And it seems like he does the same thing every year. Howard is a great player, but he's just as likely to hit .230 as he is .280. That's a big risk, and while he gives you more HR and RBI, the other two are better all around players.
