I like Doumit, I think he has a chance to move forward again this season. He looks very, very good at the plate (as does McClouth in CF for PITT). They have a chance to both be productive, but when you look at this team - they traded away Nady (25/97) and Bay (31/101) who would have completed one of the most impressive NL outfields and have left those corner spots completely BARE. Unless they have some kids growing into those slots, the lineup is going to die with LF and RF lack of production and that may be the killer for Doumit RBI.

I'm not so sure. It wouldn't surprise me to see him end up in the Top 5 again. You have Soto, Mauer & McCann who will be the top 3. After that, it's extremely wide open in my book.

Not necessarily. They don't have to score a lot of Runs. You're probably right, but he won't be the 4th most productive catcher this year.

Sorry Ryan, I have to disagree a little bit. While the average may come down, I think the power very much is for real and expect him to take a step forward, actually. My projection had him for 19 HR with 78 RBI. Hey, someone has to drive in runs in that Pittsburgh offense besides Adam LaRoche, right?
