Asdrubal Cabrera went two for four with a run. Matt LaPorta went one for three with two runs and a homer. Jack Hannahan went three for four with three runs and two homers. He’s hitting .286. Melky Cabrera went three for four with two runs, a home run, and two RBI to raise his average to .301. Justin Masterson improve to 5-0 with a 2.18 ERA after giving up three runs on five hits in 6-2/3 innings. He struck out seven.

Seattle @ Detroit
Miguel Olivo went two for four with two runs and a home run. Justin Smoak went one for four with a home run and two RBI. He’s hitting .288. Brandon Inge went one for three with two RBI.

Chicago White Sox @ New York Yankees
Gavin Floyd gave up two runs on four hits with ten strikeouts over eight innings to improve to 3-1 with a 3.60 ERA. Ivan Nova gave up one run in 6-1/3 innings, but got a no-decision.

Daniel Murphy raised his average to .288 by going two for four with a run. Josh Thole went one for four with three RBI. Jason Pridie went two for four with a run. Wilson Ramos went three for four with two home runs and three RBI. He’s hitting .378. Jerry Hairson, Jr. went two for four.

James Loney went four for four. Chris Volstad gave up two runs with five strikeouts in seven innings to earn the win.

Corey Patterson went two for five with two runs. Juan Rivera went two for four with a run and an RBI.Yorvit Torrealba is hitting .292 after going three for three with a run and an RBI.

Yuniesky Betancourt went two for three. Marco Estrada (5Ks) and Mike Leake (6K) each gave up two runs in seven innings, but did not factor into the decision.

Jeff Baker is hitting .409 after going two for four with an RBI. Jorge de la Rosa gave up one earned run with nine strikeouts in seven innings to improve to 4-0 with a 2.61 ERA.
