Here’s a look at the unheralded fantasy baseball players who played well yesterday.

Arizona Diamondbacks @ Chicago Cubs
Tyler Colvin went one for three with a home run and three RBI. Marlon Byrd went three for four with a run and an RBI. Andrew Cashner gave up one run on two hits in 5-1/3 innings before leaving with shoulder tightness. Willie Bloomquist went one for four with two RBI.

San Francisco Giants @ San Diego Padres
Chris Denorfia went two for four with an RBI for the Padres. Nick Hundley went three for four. Aaron Harrang allowed one run with six strikeouts in six innings for the win. Andres Torres went two for four with a run and a stolen base for the Giants.

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim @ Tampa Bay Rays
Howie Kendrick remained on fire going two for two with two runs. Alberto Callaspo went one for four with two RBI. New closer Jordan Walden pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning for the save. Get him now.

Boston Red Sox @ Cleveland Indians
Josh Tomlin gave up one run on three hits over seven innings to earn the win.  Matt Albers and Bobby Jenks had three strikeouts each and Daniel Bard had two in a scoreless inning of relief for Boston.

Minnesota Twins @ New York Yankees
Jason Kubel went two for five.

New York Mets @ Philadelphia Phillies
Chris Young did as much damage with his bat (3-3, run, RBI) as he did with his arm (5-1/3 IP, one run, seven Ks). Raul Ibanez went two for four for the Phils.

Oakland Athletics @ Toronto Blue Jays
Yunel Escobar went three for five with three runs, a home run, and two RBI. Carlos Villanueva had three strikeouts in two scoreless innings of relief. David Purcey and Jerry Blevins each had two strikeouts in one scoreless inning.

Houston Astros @ Cincinnati Reds
Chris Heisey went one for two with three RBI for the Reds. Mike Leake gave up two runs on three hits in six innings for the win. Jordan Smith had three strikeouts in two scoreless innings. Angel Sanchez went one for three with two RBI for Houston.

Washington Nationals @ Florida Marlins
Gaby Sanchez went two for five. Logan Morrison went two for four with a home run. Donnie Murphy went two for five with a run and an RBI. Edward Mujica struck out two in an inning of relief and earned the win. Wilson Ramos went two for five for the Nats.

Seattle Mariners @ Texas Rangers
Mitch Moreland went two for three with an RBI. Alexi Ogando, yesterday’s streaming pitcher option, gave up two hits in six scoreless innings for the win. Adam Kennedy went two for four with a run for the M’s.

Chicago White Sox @ Kansas City Royals
Melky Cabrera went three for six with a run and three RBI. Alex Gordon went three for five with two runs, a home run, and two RBI. Jeff Francoeur went two for five with a stolen base.

Atlanta Braves @ Milwaukee Brewers
Nyjer Morgan went three for four for the Brewers. Yovani Gallardo threw the shutout, but you expect him to pitch well. Derek Lowe (six innings, one run, seven strikeouts) pitched well again. He has a 0.77 ERA after two starts.

Pittsburgh Pirates @ St. Louis Cardinals
Ryan Theriot went one for two with two runs. Allen Craig went two for four with an RBI. He’s hitting .364 so perhaps they won’t rush Matt Holliday back. Kyle McClellan gave up two runs with seven strikeouts in six innings, but got a no-decision. Lyle Overbay went two for three with a home run and two RBI for the Bucs.

Los Angeles Dodgers @ Colorado Rockies
Jhoulys Chacin gave up five hits in seven scoreless innings for the win. Rafael Betancourt added two strikeouts in a scoreless inning of relief.
