Here’s a look at the unheralded fantasy baseball players who played well yesterday.

Toronto at New York Yankees

Rajai Davis went one for three with a run and three stolen bases (6). David Cooper went two for three. Ivan Nova gave up two runs with five strikeouts in 6-1/3 innings for the win.

Detroit at Cleveland

Orlando Cabrera went two for three with two two runs and an RBI to raise his average to .294. Michael Brantley went two for three with a run, an RBI, and a stolen base to raise his average to .309. Matt LaPorta went two for three with three RBI (15). Will Rhymes went two for five with a run. Don Kelly went two for five with two runs and an RBI. Austin went two for three with a run and a stolen base. Justin Masterson gave up two earned runs with seven strikeouts. Phil Coke gave up two runs on four hits in six innings. Neither starter factored into the decision.

Tim Wakefield gave up one run on three hits in 5-2/3 innings, but got a no-decision.

Jason Bourgeois went two for four with a run and a stolen base (8). Bud Norris gave up three hits with 11 strikeouts in 7-2/3 scoreless innings to improve to 2-1 with a 3.03 ERA.

Mitch Maier went two for three with three runs and an RBI. Mike Aviles went three for five with two runs, a home run (5), four RBI (21), and a stolen base (6). Matt Treanor went two for three with two runs. Alexi Casilla went two for three with a run and an RBI.
