Here’s a look at the unheralded fantasy baseball players who played well yesterday.

Tampa Bay at Cleveland
Sam Fuld went one for five with two RBI. Johny Damon went two for five with a run. Matt Joyce went one for three with two runs. He’s hitting .358. Casey Kotchman took over the team batting average lead (.360) after going two for four with a run. Reid Brignac went one for four with two RBI. Asdrubal Cabrera went two for three with two runs and a homer (6). He’s hitting .289 with 24 RBI. Orlando Cabrera went two for four with a run and an RBI (21). James Shields gave up two runs with seven strikeouts in seven innings to improve to 4-1 with a 2.08 ERA. Justin Masterson gave up five runs in 5-2/3 innings for his first loss of the year. He’s still 5-1 with a 2.73 ERA.

St. Louis at Chicago Cubs
John Jay went three for six with a run and three RBI. Yadier Molina went three for five with two runs and an RBI (16) to raise his average to .294. Tyler Greene went one for three with two runs and an RBI. Jeff Baker went three for four with an RBI. Jaime Garcia gave up one run in seven innings to improve to 5-0 with a 1.89 ERA.

Arizona at San Francisco
Nate Schierholtz went three for four with an RBI to raise his average to .281. Eli Whiteside went two for four with a run. Gerardo Parra went two for five with a run. Xavier Nady went two for four with a run. Matt Cain had another strong performance. Daniel Hudson gave up three runs with five strikeouts in 6-2/3 innings, but took the loss.

New York Mets at Colorado
Willie Harris went one for two with three runs. Carlos Beltran hit three home runs and drove in six RBI. Jonathan Herrera went two for five with a home run to raise his average to .283. Ryan Spilbroughs went two for four. Ubaldo Jimenez continues to struggle.

Seattle at Baltimore
Jason Vargas and Zach Britton each tossed nine scoreless innings, but did not factor into the decision. J.J. Hardy went two for five with two RBI. Robert Andino went two for two.

Kansas City at New York Yankees
Melky Cabrera went two for five with two runs, a home run, and two RBI (24) to raise his average to .280. Alex Gordon went one for five with two runs. Eric Hosmer went three for five with a home run and two RBI. It was his second straight game with a homer. Wilson Betemit went two for four with two runs. Alcides Escobar went one for five with two RBI. Brett Gardner went two for four with a run. Francisco Cervelli went one for three with two RBI.

Washington at Atlanta
Martin Prado went two for four with two runs and a grand slam. Alex Gonzalez went two for four with a run. Danny Espinosa went one for three with a home run and two RBI (20). Jordan Zimmermann gave up three runs on five hits with 11 strikeouts in 6-1/3 innings, but got a no-decision.
