Hisanori Takahashi, New York Mets
Takahashi continues to get it done as a starter. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits in 7 innings to improve to 5-2 with a 3.48 ERA.


Russell Branyan, Cleveland Indians
Branyan went 3 for 4 with 2 runs, a HR (8) and an RBI (20). He’s hitting .259.


Jason Hammel, Colorado Rockies
Hammel did his Ubaldo Jimenez impersonation throwing 8 scoreless innings allowing 3 hits to improve to 4-3 with a 4.53 ERA. He’s allowed just 3 runs in his last 27-1/3 innings.


Brandon Morrow, Toronto Blue Jays
Morrow took the loss, but gave up just 1 run on 5 hits with 6 strikeouts. He has 80 Ks in 70 innings on the year. He’s given up 3 runs in his past 20 innings.


Jeremy Bonderman, Detroit Tigers
Bonderman got a no-decision despite giving up 2 runs on 6 hits with 6 Ks in 7 innings. He lowered his ERA to 4.22.
