Joe Blanton, Philadelphia Phillies
Blanton picked up 8 Ks while allowing 3 runs over 7 innings. He has 22 Ks in his last three starts, but his 6.41 ERA ought to scare you away.

Jeff Keppinger, Houston Astros
Keppinger went 2 for 4 with a HR (4) and 3 RBIs (34). He’s hitting .287.

Jason Hammel, Colorado Rockies
Hammel gave up 3 runs in 7 innings with 10 Ks.  He fell to 7-4 with a 4.07 ERA.

J.J. Hardy, Minnesota Twins
Hardy went 3 for 4 with 2 runs and an RBI to raise his average to .246.

Gio Gonzalez, Oakland A’s
Gonzalez gave up 1 run in 7 innings to improve to 8-6 with a 3.63 ERA. He’s been lights out in four of his last five starts allowing 1 or fewer runs.

Scott Hairston, San Diego Padres
Hairston went 1 for 4 with 3 RBIs (31). He’s hitting just .241.

    Where’s the love for Jonathan Niese? He was great again, despite the 1-0 loss.
