With Orlando Hudson on the DL, Casilla went 2 for 4 with 3 runs and 3 RBIs to raise his average to .315. He has a modest four-game hitting streak going. Valencia went 4 for 4 with 4 runs and a Grand Slam. He went 10 for 14 in his last three games to raise his average to .376.

 

Javier Vasquez, New York Yankees
Vasquez gave up 2 runs on 5 hits with 5 Ks in 7 innings to improve to 9-7 with a 4.54 ERA.  He’s 3-0 in his last four starts with a 2.77 ERA.
