Just because you’ve slipped behind in the Stolen Base category doesn’t mean you can’t catch up.  Here are some reasonably available SB threats.

Everth Cabrera, SS, San Diego Padres - Everth did his Rickey Henderson impersonation with 4 SBs last week while hitting .238 (5 for 21) with 3 Runs and an RBI.  On the year he’s hitting .237 with 11 SBs, 22 Runs, and 12 RBIs in 40 games.  He’s owned in 7% of Yahoo!, 0.9% of ESPN, and 11% of CBS leagues.

Willy Taveras, OF, Cincinnati Reds - Slick Willy picked up 7 SBs last week while hitting .250 (5 for 20) with 2 Runs and 2 RBIs.  On the year he’s hitting .249 with 21 SBs, 46 Runs, 1 HR, and 14 RBIs.  He’s owned in 31% of Yahoo!, 63.1% of ESPN, and 31% of CBS leagues.

Elvis Andrus, SS, Texas Rangers - Elvis had 2 SBs last week while hitting .286 (4 for 14) with 1 RBI.  On the year he’s hitting .251 with 19 SBs, 36 Runs, 3 HRs, and 17 RBIs.  He’s owned in 25% of Yahoo!, 56.3% of ESPN, and 39% of CBS leagues.

Orlando Cabrera, SS, Oakland A’s - Orlando picked up 2 SBs as well while hitting .375 (9 for 24) with 4 Runs and 5 RBIs.  On the year he’s hitting .278 with 10 SBs, 39 Runs, 4 HRs, and 41 RBIs.  He’s owned in 40% of Yahoo!, 56.4% of ESPN, and 61% of CBS leagues.

Nolan Reimold, OF, Baltimore Orioles - Reimold didn’t steal early on, but he had 4 SBs in his last nine games.  He hit .500 (7 for 14) last week with 3 Runs and an RBI.  On the year he’s hitting .281 with 5 SBs, 27 Runs, 9 HRs, and 27 RBIs.  He’s owned in 24% of Yahoo!, 4.8% of ESPN, and 41% of CBS leagues.
