Just because you’ve slipped behind in the Stolen Base category doesn’t mean you can’t catch up.  Here are some reasonably available stolen base options.
.
Adam Kennedy, Seattle Mariners:  Kennedy stole four bases in the past 15 days while hitting .333 with four runs, two home runs, and five RBI. On the year he’s hitting .283 with 12 runs, four home runs, 11 RBI, and five stolen bases. Not a traditional speedsters, especially given his age (35), but Kennedy quietly had 34 SBs over the past two years. His positional flexibility adds to his bench value. Adam is owned in less than five percent of fantasy leagues.
.
Carlos Gomez, Milwaukee Brewers:  He’s streaky. Currently he’s streaking the wrong way hitting .175 over the past 15 days. He has managed to score seven runs and steal four bases though. On the year he’s hitting .225 with 24 runs, two home runs, 12 RBI, and 12 stolen bases. He’s best used in head-to-head leagues in which you are way up or way down in the batting average category. Carlos is owned in about ten percent of fantasy leagues.
.
Corey Patterson, Toronto Blue Jays:  Patterson has been productive for the Jays hitting .276 with 11 runs and three stolen bases over the past 15 days. On the year he’s hitting .268 with 20 runs, two home runs, 19 RBI, and six stolen bases. Corey is owned in eight percent of Yahoo! and 18.2 percent of ESPN leagues.
.
Jason Bartlett, San Diego Padres:  Bartlett has three stolen bases in the past 15 days while hitting .327 with six runs and 11 RBI. His hot streak has pushed his average up to .255 with 14 runs, 16 RBI, and eight stolen bases. Jason is owned in 11 percent of Yahoo! and 19.8 percent of ESPN leagues.
.
Roger Bernadina, Washington Nationals:  Bernadina has three stolen bases in the past 15 days while hitting .245 with four runs, a home run, and six RBI. On the year he’s hitting .266 with five runs, a home run, six RBI, and four stolen bases. Roger is owned in about two percent of fantasy leagues.
.
Jon Jay, St. Louis Cardinals:  Jay has three stolen bases in the past 15 days while hitting .404 with four runs, a home run, and nine RBI. On the year he’s hitting .329 with eight runs, three home runs, 11 RBI, and three stolen bases. Jon is owned in four percent of Yahoo! and 10.2 percent of ESPN leagues.
