    Pagan would be a much better bet if they had left him at the top of the order. The past two days he’s hit sixth and seventh, meaning the opportunity to score is greatly diminished. He’s still got value, but it’s hard for me to imagine him scoring as many runs as some of the others on this list.

    True. That has a major impact on his value. That, and the eventual Beltran return make him a lesser option than the rest, but in deep leagues he’s still worth owning.
